2011
We are getting geared up for our 2011 season and we'll be posting a lot of information on Facebook too. If you have any suggestions, please share them with us. thank you!
My car club (East Coast Cruisers) are in the north Charlotte area. We seem to hear about your cruise-ins after they have already happened. Could I suggest that to add your monthly event to the Carolina Cruise-in Magazine event calendar. I think it would draw many more cars from our area. The listing is free.

Some of us travel a distance as often as we can. Others are local.
Dogs 'n Burgers to order ...
Seeking Photos and Stories to Post
Got any photos or short stories about the cruise-in you'd like to see posted? Send them to info@oakborocruisein.com. We'll check 'em out and see if we can get them online!
Oakboro, North Carolina is a town of 1,199 people. Their can-do attitude is reflected in a new museum, new park, popular events and millions of dollars of grants they've received for all kinds of improvements.
Historically, it was a textile town. When Stanly Knitting Mills closed in the 1990s, the downtown dried up. Local investors bought old buildings, fixed them up and laid the seeds for a new economy. Today, nearly 240,000 people come to Oakboro for events, music and antique shopping. Why, you can even learn to fly remote planes!
