Despite the mid-afternoon rain, we had a tremendous turnout for the June Oakboro Cruise-in & Burnout. Well, we didn't exactly have the burnout because of safety concerns. See, we celebrate the Fourth of July for 10 days. Our town becomes one big festival - and we didn't have the space we normally have for the burnout. But, it will return in July.Speaking of July, the next event will be held on Friday, July 25. Stay tuned for information on car clubs, music, etc.
